Transportation Service in San Blas

The roundtrip transportation to San Blas is shared with other passengers. However, if you prefer, we also offer private transportation upon request.

For your convenience, our transportation service includes pick-up directly at your hotel, residence, or Airbnb within Panama City. Our driver will contact you between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. to coordinate the pick-up once they have arrived at the agreed location.

Our fleet of vehicles is fully insured to offer maximum safety during your journey. We use Toyota Fortuner 4×4 SUVs, ideal for the region’s roads. Each vehicle is designed to carry up to 7 passengers; however, for greater comfort and a better experience, we limit capacity to 6 passengers per SUV.

Travel Itinerary: Panama City to San Blas

The total travel time by car from Panama City to the port of San Blas is approximately 3 hours.

Departure to San Blas

1. Once all our customers have been picked up, we will begin our journey to San Blas.
2. After 1.5 hours, we will arrive at the entrance to San Blas, where we will make a 20-minute stop. Here, you will have the opportunity to use the restroom, purchase any essentials (ice, beer, water, snacks), and grab a light breakfast.
3. Once everyone is ready, we will continue traveling for 30 minutes until we reach the checkpoint, where you will need to present your passport or resident card and pay the entrance fee.
4. After passing the checkpoint, we will drive for another 30 minutes to reach the port.

Upon arrival at the port, our staff will be waiting to assist you. Our driver will introduce you to our team, who will then take you to your destination island.

Boat Transfer to the Island

Once all customers have arrived, we will board the boat.

• Departure time: 10:00 AM
• Boat ride duration: 40 minutes (depending on wind and sea conditions)

Meal Schedule

• Lunch: 12:00 PM
• Dinner: 7:00 PM
• Breakfast: 7:00 AM

Tour Information

As part of your package on Yansailadub Island, San Blas, we include several excursion options. However, the specific island visited each day depends on the guide’s organization, as many of our guests stay for several days and we aim to provide different experiences without repeating the same tours.

Available options include: the natural pool, Misdub Island, snorkeling canal, Perro Grande Island, Nugnudub Island, Chichime Island, or Diablo Island.

For each additional night you book on Yansailadub, you’ll receive a free excursion to visit new destinations in San Blas and make the most of your stay.

Check-out & Return to Panama City 

Standard Check-out: 8:00 AM
At 8:00 AM, we will depart from the island back to the port.
1. The boat ride takes 20 minutes.
2. At the port, the driver will be waiting to take you back to Panama City.
3. The return route follows the same path as the departure.
4. We will make a stop at the entrance of San Blas for a restroom break.
5. Once everyone is ready, we will proceed to drop you off at your hotel, Airbnb, or residence.
6. Estimated arrival time in Panama City: 1:00 PM.

Extend your island time and relax longer in Yansailadub Island

Ask about our Late Check-out option until 3:00 PM and make the most of your day in San Blas. Relax, swim, and soak in the beauty of Yansailadub Island without rushing.

Late Check-out: 3:00 PM
At 3:00 PM, we will depart from the island back to the port.
